GSA Executive Committee
The work of the Executive Committee allows the GSA to continue functioning to serve the needs of the graduate students at UCSF. As a group they share information regarding issues affecting the lives, work and aspirations of their constituents and make decisions on advocating on matters deemed priorities. Examples of GSA priorities include: health care for students, stipends, housing and safety.
Duties of the committee include:
- Approving expenditures for operating expenses.
- Proposing a working budget for GSA.
- Planning and implementing events to benefit graduate students personally, professionally or socially.
- Approving requests for travel funds.
- Approving emergency expenditures when needed.
